GET YOUR “PINK ON” DR. KELLY D. FERRELL!
American Cancer Society’s campaign, Real Men Wear Pink (RMWP)
begins October 1 and runs through October 31, 2019. Dr. Kelly D. Ferrell, board certified radiologist at Breast Diagnostic Center, will participate in the 3rd annual Real Men Wear Pink campaign. He will be competing against other men in our local community to raise breast cancer awareness and fundraise for a great cause.
Several years ago Breast Diagnostic Center (BDC) was approached by the American Cancer Society
to partake in their new campaign, RMWP. Dr. William C. Petty, Medical Director at BDC proudly accepted the challenge in the Fall of 2017. Dr. Petty and his staff fundraised with energy and passion and wore a generous amount of pink attire during October, 2017. The following year, Fall of 2018, Dr. Jay T. Jones picked up the baton from Dr. Petty to fundraise in the 2nd annual RMWP campaign. Since the inception of RMWP, these two BDC radiologists have raised over $10,000 and wore a substantial amount of pink while united in their fight against breast cancer.
